Pains in Both Knees - ON, Canada - BIOFLEX Laser Therapy Clinic

Dear Dr. Kahn,

I wanted to thank you for the miracle of my much improved knees. I have been truly suffering with both knees since November of 2012. Prior to that, I had them both “scoped” in 2005 to get rid of the arthritis.

I was out of Canada in November when my knees became unbearably painful. I ended up having cortisone injections in both and then finally 3 injections of the synthetic “Orthovix” in my left knee. $3000.00 US and they did nothing to help with my pain or mobility.

When I got home to Canada, I had an appointment with the Joint Assessment Clinic (in the Bronson Hospital) on May 2, 2013, where they X-rayed my knees. After looking at the X-rays, they recommended a double knee replacement to happen ASAP in Toronto. I am going to be 75 years old in a couple months, I have 3 stents in my heart and I had a heart attack in 1993. Luckily, my sister in law, Liz Abbott told me of your fantastic clinic and the unbelievable results she has had with her painful back. She convinced me to give it a try. God Bless her. I also began my laser treatments the same day as my appointment at the Joint Assessment Clinic May 2, 2013.

To be honest, I couldn’t understand how laser therapy could work on my “bone on bone” knees. I have now had 11 treatments with those amazing laser machines: I am back to working at a golf course, climbing stairs and living my life. I had a pre-op appointment with my orthopedic surgeon on May 24, 2013. He examined me, scratched his head and said, “I don’t understand it…but in all good conscience, I have to say you don’t need your knees replaced!!” What did you do again??? This is the way of the future and medicine, I am sure of it. I am pain free and looking forward to Just living life with my “new and improved” knees.

Thank you so much for taking my case. You have given my “active life” back to me, when I thought it was over. Our friends can’t believe this could have happened without a sharp scalpel and a big saw. I will tell everyone about this state of the art way of healing people without carving them up! I also want to say your staff are experts and truly caring individuals as well.

I will admit that … More I came in pretty skeptical, but I’m glad I did because thanks to Dr. Slava’s laser expertise and care, I avoided a very invasive surgery that has very long and painful recovery. The laser therapy was non-invasive and to my surprise completely pain-free—I didn’t feel a thing! Dr. Slava was very professional, attentive, and took time to explain everything clearly. I have remained infection free since then and very relieved! Having had a couple surgeries for the same issue in the past, I would advise anyone to first try Dr. Slava and his method before going under the knife.
